Fire in the Foothills is a KCBS Sanctioned competition.Put your BBQ skills to the test and compete in Professional PitMaster or  backyard cooking categories and win cash prizes.Pro PitMaster Grand Champion also will win a Bad Mother Smoker; a custom one of a kind drum smoker built special for this event!

Alongside earning points for KCBS end-of-year awards, participating KCBS BBQ Pro Teams will contend for cash prizes generously provided by our sponsors. The accumulation of the highest number of points in the KCBS contest will determine the Grand Champion, Reserve Grand Champion, and recipients of awards and cash prizes for first through fifth place in each meat category. The champion of this contest will be automatically entered in the Jack Daniels contest lottery.

Teams will be meticulously evaluated by KCBS certified judges across brisket, ribs, pork, and chicken categories.
